World’s Tallest Gold Bar Shines at the 58th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show in Sharjah

Sharjah, 1 October 2026:

Visitors to the 58th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah are turning their attention to one of the exhibition’s most remarkable displays — the world’s tallest gold bar, which holds an official Guinness World Records title and is being showcased by BTC.

A Record-Breaking Gold Bar

The gold bar measures 2.12 metres (6 feet 11.5 inches), earning the title of the world’s tallest gold bar, according to the official certificate issued by Guinness World Records. The bar was designed in the form of a golden ruler, transforming this record-breaking achievement into a visually striking display that visitors can engage with.

A Record Transformed into an Interactive Visitor Experience

The gold bar is more than just a record-breaking piece, offering visitors an interactive experience through the concept “Measure Your Height in Gold.” Visitors can stand beside the bar and compare their height with its towering length before taking photos next to it.

The gold bar is displayed vertically on a dedicated platform featuring the exhibition’s branding, alongside the Guinness World Records certificate documenting the achievement and officially identifying the bar itself as the record holder.

The gold bar’s presence at the exhibition offers a distinctive approach to showcasing gold, combining the value of the precious metal with innovative design and visual appeal. Its exceptional height gives visitors the opportunity to see a gold piece on an unusual scale and engage with it directly.

BTC’s participation with this remarkable piece comes as part of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 30 September to 4 October 2026. The exhibition features more than 500 brands from 19 countries across an area exceeding 30,000 square metres, alongside five international pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Singapore and Thailand.

With a history spanning more than five decades, the exhibition continues to attract jewellery houses, brands, designers, manufacturers, buyers and professionals interested in the watches and jewellery sector, while showcasing the latest designs and collections in gold, diamonds, precious gemstones and watches.
