Yango Ride doubled tips for drivers during Eid Al-Fitr

Dubai, 07 April 2025 — Yango Ride, a ride-hailing service and part of global tech company Yango Group, marked Eid Al-Fitr by giving back to the partner drivers who keep the city moving. As a gesture of appreciation, Yango doubled all in-app tips made by card between March 30 and April 1, giving drivers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai a well-deserved boost this Eid.

The initiative reflected the spirit of generosity that defines the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid, along with Yango’s ongoing commitment to supporting their driver community. Whether navigating through long hours or ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely, Yango partner drivers are central to every journey, and this Eid, their efforts did not go unnoticed.

In line with its commitment to supporting driver well-being during Ramadan, Yango Ride introduced a prayer-friendly mode in the app. Through this mode, drivers can receive a reminder before each prayer, mute notifications at prayer time, and temporarily pause ride requests without missing out on future earning opportunities. Additionally, Iftar Boxes were distributed to drivers weekly across key locations, ensuring they had the chance to break their fast comfortably while on the road.
