TishTash Communications, the award-winning, independent integrated marketing communications agency headquartered in Dubai, is thrilled to announce its recent recognition as a certified Great Place to Work®. Great Place to Work® is the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures, providing benchmarks, frameworks, and expertise to acknowledge outstanding workplace cultures worldwide.

TishTash Communications, headquartered in Dubai, with offices in Saudi Arabia and the UK, employs 52 women in its fully female workforce.  TishTash underwent a rigorous evaluation process conducted by Great Place to Work®, which involved assessing the company’s policies, programs, alongside employee feedback. The certification reflects TishTash’s dedication to creating an outstanding work environment that nurtures talent, supports growth, and values employee well-being.

As well as being certified as a Great Place to Work®, TishTash has also earned a spot on the Best Workplaces in the Middle East™️ 2023 list, further solidifying their position in the region, as one of the best organisations to be a part of.

TishTash, also recently announced a new policy supporting women’s healthcare in the workplace. Starting March 1st, 2023, team members are able to receive paid leave for fertility and menopause treatments, along with other women’s health matters. The policy recognizes the increasing demand for fertility treatments, offering flexible time off for medical appointments, including egg freezing. It also addresses the impact of menopause on women’s careers, providing up to six days of menopause and menstrual leave per year, work-from-home options, and no requirement for medical certificates. This policy change reflects TishTash’s people-first approach, following previous initiatives such as a 4.5-day working week, flexible work policies, extended maternity leave, and the option for employees to work from their home country for up to four weeks annually.

The leadership team at TishTash, CEO Natasha Hatherall-Shawe and MD Polly Williams, have become powerful voices in the community. They have received numerous awards for their leadership and the culture they have established. Polly advocates for working mothers, drawing from her personal experience juggling motherhood and a demanding job. She frequently gives keynote speeches, appears on panels, and participates in radio discussions, openly addressing the realities faced by working women and mothers.
