The UAE’s Pension Authority attracted 1,500 visitors according to a Microsoft AI technology assisted camera
DUBAI, UAE, October 2022: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has announced the conclusion of its participation in the 42nd edition of GITEX Technology Week 2022, after showcasing three components of its digital transformation plan. These components included a digital platform for beneficiaries, an immersive Metaverse experience and an interactive dashboard.
Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer, Head of GPSSA’s Government Communications Office, said: “Showcasing our digital transformation projects comes in line with the directives of the UAE government, especially at a prestigious event like GITEX, a significant platform that brings together big players and experts from the tech industry. Our participation under the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) pavilion, which included 33 federal entities, affirmed our enthusiasm to be continuously updated on the latest technologies in order to continue to improve our efficiency and quality of services, thereby ensuring customer happiness. During the event, we also witnessed the digital projects of other federal entities, exchanged expertise and identified potential collaborations and challenges that will help us formulate the best digital initiatives for the future.”
Ghadeer added that social security is a crucial service that the UAE provides for its citizens, ensuring their social and financial stability today and into the future. She stated: “Being the authority entrusted to do so, we support every Emirati home with an insured individual, pensioner and/or beneficiary. As such, our participation at GITEX is important because it helps us get closer to our customers and hear from them in person.”
