Manama, Bahrain; 5 March 2025: City Centre Bahrain, the premier shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle destination in the Kingdom, is continuing its heartfelt tradition of giving back to the community during Ramadan with the launch of its annual ‘Be a Light’ campaign. Now in its third year, the campaign shows the mall’s ongoing commitment to supporting Bahraini society by fostering their well-being, unity, and progress.

City Centre Bahrain invites the local community to join this year’s ‘Be a light’ movement at the Central Galleria, celebrating “The power of words,” and their profound impact. The initiative explores how words can inspire, uplift, and bring people closer together during the Holy Month.

Shoppers and visitors can immerse themselves in a thought-provoking artistic experience, that highlights the power of language to influence and uplift. Through a unique projection installation, powerful and positive words will be cast onto participants, encouraging them to reflect on how their choice of words can influence both themselves and the lives of others. This visually captivating and experiential element is designed to inspire compassion and kindness, giving visitors a chance to truly embody the campaign’s message of spreading light and positivity.

The initiative was officially launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, with the presence of Ms. Inas Al Majed, the Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development. The ‘Be a Light’ movement continues to highlight City Centre Bahrain’s dedication to promoting positive acts and values in the local community.
