The UAEU receives 50 new faculty members in various academic disciplines

Al Ain, UAE: H.E Prof. Ghaleb AlBreiki, UAEU’s Acting Vice Chancellor, has affirmed the university’s readiness for the upcoming academic year by receiving a new cohort of faculty members who will contribute to its academic journey in accordance with the highest and latest international standards. This commitment will enable the UAEU to continue achieving its mission of leadership and innovation in higher education, scientific research and community service at the local and international levels, and to forecast the prospects for the next 50 years.

This was during the introductory meeting with the new faculty members, organized by the Human Resources Department in the presence of the college deans and the department chairs. The Chancellor of the University presented an overview of the university’s programs, capabilities, vision and aspirations, tailored to meet the preferences of students across various academic disciplines. The chancellor has also highlighted the importance of fostering creativity, innovation and advancing scientific research to further establish the university’s position as a leading research and educational institution within the country.

Ms. Aisha Al Dhaheri, Director of the Human Resources Department, indicated that this year, the UAEU received 50 new experienced and qualified faculty members representing various nationalities and academic disciplines and who were carefully selected. She delivered a comprehensive presentation on the university’s facilities, services, and privileges available to the employees and their families. These provisions create an environment conducive to optimal performance, within an engaging educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation. Additionally, service representatives from the Human Resources Department provided guidance and efficiently managed all necessary transactions for the new faculty members.
